A Mid Victorian Walnut Stool or Window Seat

Description

A mid Victorian long stool or window seat in walnut, the stuffover seat with double piping over a serpentine rail on elegant cabriole supports with upturned feet. English circa 1870.

Condition: Excellent, the stool is robust and solid, and the timber is of good colour with nice patination. The seat has recently been recovered using a pale blue linen.
