Art Deco Gallia Christofle complete set of twelve silver plated bronze knife rests c1930.

A set of twelve Art Deco silver plated bronze animal knife rests designed by Sandoz for Gallia Christofle in original case c1930, depicting twelve different animals of cubist form.

Each piece depicts a different animal. Impressed mark 'O GALLIA' on each animal.

These animals were originally designed by Sandoz for the famous cruise ship liner "SS Normandie".

Each animal figure is circa 10cm in length.

Condition: Slight wear to inside silk case lining on join between top and bottom of base.
