Description

Ooh, he's lovely! A solid sterling silver novelty pin cushion, modelled as a crouching rabbit.

The silver carries clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1908 and the maker's mark of Adie & Lovekin Ltd, manufacturers of many of these small collectable pin cushions.

The modelling is realistic and very tactile. There is possibly a repair to one of the ears, which is somewhat fatter than the other, but otherwise the silver is in excellent condition. The cushion looks to be original, a worn brown velvet.
