Comments: This stickpin was made in France during the early Victorian period, circa 1830. It features a chimera holding a rose cut diamond in his jaws. The face is really expressive, and realistic. It is marked with the French mark for 18kt gold: the ram’s head used in France between 1819 an 1839. It is in very good antique condition.
