A Delightful Victorian Silver Vesta

A delightful Victorian silver vesta. This handsome piece has engraved ivy leaves to the front, together with a fine monogram 'J A'. To the back there is a diagonal panel of engraved acanthus, bordered by dot engraved pattern. The hinged lid opens to reveal the hallmarks and a lightly gilded interior. An interesting and good quality collector's piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits, dents or holes. There are a couple of very small age related bumps, commensurate with use. The hinge is strong with good 'snap'.
