Description

This is a lovely pair of antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver grape scissors / shears measuring 6 1/2" (17 cms) long complete with their original presentation case.

They're in excellent condition with no damage or repairs and each has the Latin motto 'Fortis in Arduis' which means 'Brave in Difficulties'.

They are hallmarked for London 1841 with the silversmiths mark for Charles Reily & George Storer and the case shows the retailers stamp for the Goldsmiths & Silversmith Co of Regent St. in London.

They weigh 113.5 grams.
