Large Antique Solid Silver Bonbon Dish

1900 - 1920
Description

A nice example of a large octagonal sterling silver bonbon dish with a pretty pierced rim, standing on 4 feet. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 320g.

It is clearly hallmarked for Joseph Gloster Ltd, Birmingham, 1929.

It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and some minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and displays beautifully.
