Comments: This beautiful medal comes directly from the Art Nouveau period. It is made in 18kt yellow gold with a nice antique patine. It depicts the Virgin and Child of Botticelli. The Renaissance painting, by the renowned Italian painter, is exhibited in the Louvre (Paris, France). This medal is beautifully adorned with flowers garlands and a ribbon on the top. The back features roses on the left, initials and a date 16 Mai 1920 on the right. It is marked with the French eagle’s head. It is in very good condition.
