Description

A good George III solid silver bright cut patch box, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1794, with makers mark IT. A similar mark was registered in Apr 1813 by Joseph Taylor.

A very attractive example, with vacant shield cartouche. A beautiful and finely engraved example. The lid with full hallmarks and makers mark; the base with makers mark only.

In excellent condition throughout, hallmarks sharp and clear.
