Hallmarks: French - the eagle’s head

Maker’s mark

Comments: This lovely medal is made in 18kt yellow solid gold. It features the profile of a young saint, looking to the right, probable the Virgin Mary. The medal is controlled with the French eagle’s head. The back is engraved with the date 13 – 6 – 48 for the 13th June of 1949 and the initials S C. It is in very good vintage condition.

• Diameter: 16.29mm / 0.64in
