Large Antique Brass Banker's Desk Lamp

1920 - 1940
Description

A large brass Art Deco style desk lamp dating from the early 20th Century. It is a stylish piece with a heavy square stepped base and an on/off flick switch. It is adjustable and the whole arm can be moved backwards and forwards and the shade is also adjustable.

The lamp has been re-wired and PAT Tested and is in good working order. It takes a standard bayonet bulb (bulb not included with lamp).

The base of the lamp measures approximately 6 1/2" (17cm) square. The shade is 9" (23cm) long and the lamp stands approximately 16 1/2" (42cm) tall.

It is in good condition for its age. The brass has tarnished in places over time and has a wonderful aged patina. There are some signs of age and use, some marks and scratches around the base but overall it displays very well. The lamp has been lightly cleaned and is ready for use.
