A Superb and Unusual Victorian Silver Mounted Scent Bottle

An unusual Victorian silver mounted scent bottle. This charming and eye catching design has a cranberry tapering body, overlaid and cut through in a spiral. The silver lid is hinged and of repousse design. Inside there is a fitted glass peg stopper and the trace of old perfume. A lovely and eye catching collector's item. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks to the glass. The silver has no splits, holes or dents. There are light surface scuff marks and wear to the base, commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Unmarked but tests as silver (not unusual for small silver scent bottle tops).
