Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Vesta 1899 - The Music Lesson

Description

This is a super antique Victorian sterling silver vesta case measuring 1 3/4" (4.5 cms) x 1 1/2" (4 cms) and hallmarked for Birmingham 1899 with the silversmiths mark for Henry Matthews.

The lid is embossed with a depiction of ‘The Music Lesson’ by Nicolas Lancret depicting a gentleman playing a lute to two ladies in a formal garden scene.

It's in excellent condition with no damage (any marks you can see are just reflections) and it weighs 28 grams/0.9 troy oz.

This vesta will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
