Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Snuff Box 1872

Description

This is a lovely antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver snuff box measuring 3" (8 cms) x just over 1 3/4" (4.5 cms).

It opens and closes perfectly with a good strong hinge and the interior is in very good condition and gilded inside.

It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1872 with the silversmiths mark for Robert Thornton.

It weighs 59.4 grams/1.9 troy oz and the whole item is in excellent condition with no inscriptions or monograms.

This snuff box will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
