A Georgian Irish Silver Meat Skewer

A superb Irish silver meat skewer from the beginning of the 19th Century. This handsome example is of rapier form, with a large circular holding grip to the top. The tapering shaft is long and the gauge of the silver is good. Irish silver from this period is always in demand and this is a wonderful collector's item of Georgian dining ware. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Very good with no breaks or repairs. There are a few minor score marks to the shank caused by usage, commensurate with age.
