This fine twin pedestal sideboard is truly a magnificent and imposing piece of furniture of the highest quality. The body of the sideboard features a central bevelled mirror. Each side of the cabinet is formed of a small bracket shelf (formerly to hold a candle), a draw and single door raised on a plinth base with ebonised pillar supports. The interior of each cupboard is fitted with shelves, there is also a large drop centre draw. The sideboard is marked for Dobson & Co, this could relate to ''George Dobson & Son Furniture Dealers and Licensed Valuers, 33 Cookridge Street, Leeds'' .
