Edwardian Mahogany and Marquetry Piano Stool

1900 - 1920
Description

Good quality Edwardian mahogany and marquetry inlaid piano stool or dressing table stool with an upholstered and padded seat.

Very decorative with the marquetry and satinwood banding, lovely spindle X frame stretcher and stands on pad feet.

Good condition, solid and sturdy frame and although the cushion seat is not newly upholstered, it is in good condition. Finished in a pastel powder blue chenille and a scroll braided edge.

Measuring:

19 1/2’’ or 49.5cm high

20 1/2’’ or 52cm wide

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
