Description

Birmingham 1939 great English hallmarked solid silver topped cut glass inkwell with original glass liner, made by John Grinsell and Sons, makers of such goods.

A lovely, square cut glass inkwell with bevelled edges and nice solid silver top with hinged rising lid, quite simple and contemporary in style. Heavy in weight, it can double as a paperweight, and comes with the original small glass liner.

Size- 2.75 inches square by 2.5 inches high.

Weight-550 grams.

The glass is in undamaged condition. The silver lid has one tiny dimple.

In overall very good condition.

This lovely inkwell will be at home in any decor, and makes a great display on any desk or table. It also makes a wonderful gift for a man or woman.
