Rare Monumental Antique Indian Silver Magnifying Glass Madras 1890 Huge

Description

Massive , important looking magnifying glass with a silver handle 31 cms long and a glass of 13 cms diameter (12.5” x 5”). This is in the “ SWAMI “ style of 19th century Madras silver portraying 12 different Indian gods and goddess in various poses or mudras.

The rim of the glass is also solid silver .

Apart from a small dent at the base of the handle (see photos) the piece is in really fine antique and very usuable condition.
