Edwardian Silver Bread Fork in Case

A fine and unusual example of an Edwardian silver bread fork. The design is typical of the Edwardian period with repousse scrolls and flowers to the both the handle and the head, showing just the start of the influence of Art Nouveau. The fork is in excellent condition probably due to the fact that it still in the original box. The marks which are quite clear are for Birmingham 1904 and the Maker is W.J.Myatt and Co. This is an unusual piece of flatware to be made in silver throughout and amazing to still be in the original box.
