Pair of Antique Sterling Silver Duck & Woodcock Menu Holders 1938

Description

This is a super pair of antique hallmarked sterling silver menu/name card holders one in the style of a flying duck and the other a woodcock.

Both hallmarked for Chester 1938 with the silversmiths marks for A. Wilson and complete in their original presentation case which shows the Scottish retailers name of 'Wilson & Sharp Ltd, Disamond Merchants, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths, 132, Princes St, Edinburgh'.

They measure 1 1/2" (3.5 cms) across x 1 1/2" (3.5 cms) high and are in excellent condition.

They weigh 42.2 grams the pair.
