Description

Pretty Georgian oval shaped tortoiseshell pill or trinket box with vacant solid silver cartouche to lid,

and brass hinge, frame and thumbcatch.

In good condition overall with signs of old restoration to top lid side, small hairline around frame pin in back, and tiny chip to shell at bottom edge.

Size-1 7/8 inches long by 1 3/8 inches wide by .75 inches high.

Weight-25 grams.

An attractive and useful box for pills, trinkets, or desk tidy.
