The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
Made from solid sterling silver, a pair of menu holders shaped as cats with arched backs.
They are hallmarked clearly for Birmingham 1906, with the maker's mark for Henry Charles Freeman. The backs have springs and rest on two splayed legs. The silver is in excellent condition, with just a couple of tarnish marks. They're certainly a talking point!
