Rare William IV Silver Leaf Design Chamberstick

Description

A very rare and highly collectable solid silver William IV silver miniature Chamberstick. This base of the Chamberstick is a lovely leaf design to both the top and also underneath (see images). and the pillar is also beautifully decorated in a leaf design. The original Snuffer is attached with a chain, which can be hooked onto the body of the pillar. The handle is exquisite with a neat leaf thumb-piece to the top. Full hallmarks are clearly visible on the base for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1832 along with the Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver

A wonderful miniature chamberstick. A delight to the eye!

 

This chamberstick is in fabulous antique collector's condition.
