Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Inkwell on Stand 1898

Description

This is a lovely antique Victorian sterling silver & glass inkwell on stand measuring 6 1/2" (16.5 cms) across the stand x 4 1/4" (11 cms) high.

Both the stand and inkwell are hallmarked for London 1898 with the silversmiths mark for John Grinsell & Sons.

The whole item is in excellent condition with no damage and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

The petal shape of the plate is repeated in the silver on the neck of inkwell.
