Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
These are a lovely size and not too tall, so you could place them either end of a chest or console table for example, but as you can see, they stand well along side a typical size armchair as reading lights.
The condition is good to both lamps and they have been fully re wired to UK standards.

I have shown them with a pair of 18” French drum shades to give a proportion, although they are just examples.
Priced as a pair, but they can be split if you would just like one.
