An Exceptional Adelphi Theatre Silver Vesta

A very rare and interesting memento of Edwardian silver. This wonderful silver vesta has a scene form 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' embossed to the front, with the title of the play embossed above. On the reverse 'Adelphi Theatre 1906' is at the top and on the body, 'With Otho Stuart's compliments' is written. Otho Stuart was a famous actor/stage director, debuting in 1886 and dying in 1930. An exceptionally rare vesta, with interesting Theatre connections. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits.The lid closes well. There is some light 'rippling' to the reverse, commensurate with age and use.
