Description

An unusual solid sterling silver coaster, with a silver base rather than the more usual wooden bottoms.

Clearly hallmarked on the side for Birmingham 1910, with the maker's mark of Thomas Fattorini. The deep sides feature a wythen pattern interspersed with foliage and a fluted edging. There are a couple of small bruises on the base.
