Unusual Silver Square Champagne Swizzle Stick

1940 - 1960
Description

A very unusual solid silver champagne swizzle stick. The swizzle stick is a neat design, with engine turned patterns on each side with a sliding action to open and a loop to attach to a watch chain etc at the end. The end of the swizzle stick is unusually a pyramid shape giving it a very Art Deco feel.

The side of the swizzle stick is fully hallmarked for the Birmingham with a date mark for 1966 and a makers mark for S J Rose & Son.

 

Condition: This stick is in great condition, please see the pictures.

 

Hallmarks: Birmingham 1966 S J Rose & Son.

 

Measurements:

Length (open): 11.5 cm

Length (closed): 7.5 cm

Width: 0.4 cm

Weight: 4.2 grams
