Superb Pair of Edwardian Silver Salts London 1901

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb pair of Edwardian solid silver salts with gilt interior.

They are a lovely, heavy gauge with beautifully detailed lion mask and paw feet linked with floral swags and a gadrooned rim.

Crisp hallmarks are clearly visible on the base of each for London 1901 by Pairpoint Brothers. Each bears an indistinct crest.

 

Condition: In very good antique condition. There are some light indentations commensurate with age and 3 marks on one section above a flower on the swag, please see final image.
