Description

A Victorian signet-style ring set with a polished agate carved in the form of a shield. It's a little hard to tell from the photos but the agate is a bluish milky white on top with the dark orange layer beneath showing around the edges.

In good antique condition, surface wear consistent with normal usage over time.

Hallmarked for nine-carat gold, c.1888, with the inscription "Dollie".

Size: 6 (US), M (UK). The shield measures 8 x 7mm.

Weight: 1.6g.
