Superb Silver Box with Coronation Hallmarks Birmingham 1952

1940 - 1960
Description

A superb silver rectangular box with Coronation hallmarks for Birmingham 1952. The box is beautifully made with a concealed hinge and cross hatch engine turning to the exterior. The box lid is sprung and opens by pushing the rose gold colour button at the front. Inside is a gilt interior with full hallmarks in the base and part hallmarks in the lid.

 

A super box in lovely condition.
