Description

This is a set of four hallmarked sterling silver handled butter knives. They were assayed in Sheffield in 1894 and made by William Hutton & Sons Ltd. They are hallmarked to both sides of the handles. The handles have a reed and flowerhead border. The collars bear the registration number 469317. The blades are silver plated.

The handles do have small dents and two are coming away from the blades. Otherwise they bear wear commensurate with age.
