This is an American hallmarked sterling silver souvenir teaspoon. It was made circa 1900 by Towle Silversmiths of Newburyport, Massachusetts. It is engraved to the bowl 'Florence Apr 29. 1900'.

It has an ornate handle with scrolling designs and pierced detail, surrounded by a beaded border. The bowl is of faceted form.

The spoon is in good general condition, with wear commensurate to age.

The spoon weighs 27g /0.87 ozt.
