Description

Edwardian silver twin handled tray (great for a tea service, drinks, dining etc.) of rectangular form. The gadroon and shell border is heavily cast with the design continuing onto the handles. The plain foreground of the tray has a glorious centre pattern of shells and scrolls, which not only add to the spectacle, but save the tray from becoming scratched when items are placed on it.

This magnificent piece of silver is of the highest quality and weight, and made by one of the best manufacturers of the period.
