Description

A trio of three George III cast silver sugar tongs, circa 1770-1780. Each marked with the lion passant and makers mark. The makers marks are as follows:

From the first image, left to right:

1: William Harrison I (circa 1770)

2. John Shekleton (Circa 1780/90).

3. Thomas Wallis II (circa 1780)

The John Shekleton pair are particularly nice, with a beautiful bow detail and in perfect condition. There are two small, very old repairs to the other two.
