Devonshire Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The box displays many different scenes to the top, back, sides and front also on the base, depicting children playing with a birdcage, families rejoicing, a boat on a lake, young men fishing, houses and trees in the background. On the base there are scenes of people happily drinking and dancing. The box is in good overhauled and working condition, it also carries a guarantee.
The bird feathers are a very strong colour, red, blue and green.
