Antique Victorian Sterling Silver 'Birds' Coffee Pot 1852

Description

This is a beautiful antique Victorian sterling silver coffee pot measuring 10? (26 cms) tall x 9? (23 cms) across from handle to spout x 5 1/4? (13 cms) deep and with a 3 pint capacity.

The condition is superb with no damage at all (any marks you can see in the photos are just reflections) and inside is nice and clean and perfectly usable.

It’s hallmarked for London 1852 with the silversmiths mark for Stephen Smith & William Nicholson.

It has a beautiful decoration of birds around a blank cartouche on both sides with a flower finial and a beautiful ivy decoration around the handle.

It weighs 791 grams which gives you some idea of the quality .
