Stunning George III and rare curved snuff box with beautiful engraved decoration on hinged cover and base. Superb gilt interior. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1806 by John Shaw.

A fine quality box, in exquisite condition, the engraving beautiful. No damage, wear or restoration.

Inside there is a note that reads ‘Bought at M.E. Ekstein Ltd, Jermyn Street March 21st 1966 for £22 Birmingham 1806 John Shaw’
