Antique Sterling Silver Vanity Pot with Birds 1901

Description

This is a lovely antique hallmarked sterling silver vanity pot measuring 4" (10 cms) tall x 3 1/4" (8 cms) across.

It weighs 147.7 grams and is hallmarked for London 1901 with the silversmiths mark for the Mappin Brothers.

It's in excellent condition, the inside is nice and clean and there are no initials or monograms.

It's decorated all round with lovely flowers and the lid shows two birds either side of a blank cartouche with a little bee at the top.
