Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The handle is equally ornate and features branches with a small barn to the top with a dog peeping out.

On the back of the spoon bowl are the clear hallmarks for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1909 and maker's mark for Harry Freeman.
A good heavy gauge spoon feels good and solid to hold in the hand.
