Rare Early Victorian Solid Silver Travelling Inkwell and Nib Box

Description

A wonderful and rare Victorian solid silver and cut glass travelling inkwell and nib box by Thomas Diller, hallmarked London 1840. The silver tops of each, beautifully engraved with foliage decoration with central vacant cartouche. The glass of each with star cut detail to the base.

In excellent condition throughout, no damage or restoration. some ink residue to the inside of the inkwell. The nib box complete with a number of nibs.
