Description

A stunning George V elliptical shaped solid silver snuff box by the much sought after Sampson Mordan and Co. This stunning all over machine turned box opens to reveal a wonderful gilt interior. Both the lid and base are fully hallmarked, London 1920 by Sampson Mordan & Co. There is a further retailers inscription, discreetly to the inside of the lid, which reads ‘Brooks Bros, New York. Made in England’. This piece was exported and sold from the famous Brooks Bros store, still trading today.

In excellent condition throughout, hallmarks sharp and clear. No damage or restoration.
