Stylish English Sterling Silver Inkwell - Sheffield 1911

Description

A large very smart inkwell for the finest of desk-tops, perfect for either a lady or gentleman and able to blend in with both a traditional or contemporary home.

The heavy hinged lid (hinge in perfect working order) lifts to reveal the removable glass ink chamber within.

Clearly hallmarked for Sheffield 1911 celebrating it's 99th birthday this year. The makers mark is also on both base & lid for Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall. A quality piece in excellent condition with a base measuring 4 1/4" square and standing 3 1/2" tall.
