Antique synthetic ruby and split pearl antique earrings dating from the first decade of the 20th century. The earrings are in fabulous antique condition and make a beautiful dramatic pair of antique earrings.

Synthetic rubies are identical chemical composition as their natural counterparts and therefore as durable and hard as rubies with identical qualities, they are not to be compared to glass or paste which are not.
