Antique George IV Sterling Silver Mustard Pot

Description

An Antique George IV Sterling silver mustard pot which is round in shape with a detailed body depicting flowers and leaves, a hinged decorative lid, a removable flower and leaf finial, a patterned scroll handle and resting on four nicely shaped feet. This silver mustard pot is of exceptional quality and would certainly enhance a mustard pot collection. The interior has been nicely gilded and has the added benefit of a blue glass liner. It was hallmarked in London for 1822 by Samuel Wheatley and is still in excellent condition. It weighs 9.10 troy ounces (283 grams ) and there is a crest on one side of the body.
