Description

A very impressive Newcastle George III baluster shaped silver pint mug with deep chased Rococo flowers and scrolling foliage with an empty cartouche and a leaf capped double scroll handle. The interior is gilt and stands on a cast decorated spreading foot. In very good condition.

Date: Circa 1780.

Maker: John Langlands & John Robertson, Newcastle.
