A Rare Edwardian Silver Mounted Whisky Companion

A rare and attractive item of usable Edwardian silver, by the great Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. This delightful piece is a silver mounted water jug of small proportions, used as a companion piece to a bottle or decanter of Whisky. The body is panel cut glass and conical shaped with geometric cutting in bands. This fine example has a hinged and hallmarked silver lid, with a thumb-grip to assist opening. To the front are the engraved initials I.T. A practical and desirable piece by a great name in silver. Dimensions below.
