This is an Edwardian hallmarked sterling silver pin dish in the form of a heart. It was assayed in London in 1904 and was made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd. It is decorated with repousse, featuring two cherubs, a squirrel, a rabbit and two birds amongst scrolling acanthus leaves.
The edges of the dish are quite bent out of shape, and there is a scratch to the centre of the back. There is some wear to the raised surfaces from past polishing.
It weighs 40g (1.31 ozt).
