Hallmarked Silver Jug and Sugar Bowl

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a matching hallmarked sterling silver milk jug and sugar bowl. They were assayed in Birmingham in 1915 and made by Wilson & Gill. They bear the Wilson & Gill retaillers mark to the underside.

They are of simple form with looped handles. The jug has a number of dents to the side, with the sugar bowl having shallower dents. The hallmarks are slightly rubbed on both pieces.
